Hello Sylvain and Team, In the newer 6.61 i cannot import 3d from 3ds, and from dae is a real eternity and it turns superbig (unscaled), also in this drawing I cannot transform PV modules that are objects in generating fields. Could my graphic card be not sufficient? Besides, the problem of moving objects disappear but i can only move them in horizontal or vertical, not a normal diagonal drag like it always was possible in past versions. Thanks in advance, BR

Hi SE2015, The problem is that i cannot select it, i only select the generator field, and when i select this one and i see these 3 arrows i cannot move it. Can you click and position all the objects like the past versions? Thanx, Tecnun

I insist on these bugs as long as with them it is IMPOSSIBLE to draw anything!! Am i in a mistake? it is strange nobody said nothing about this issue....all these MAGNIFICENT improvements in the drawing tool are not worth it AT ALL if you cannot drag and orient the figures (shading obj & generator). Please if anyone has not this problem report it so maybe some PCs like mine are not compatible with this new version. Best R Tecnun

I must specify that this bug only occur when you fill area of modules coming from an ZONE. Sorry i didnt double checked it before... BR Tecnun

Dear collegues, I ve identified these couple of bugs: 1) You cannot move objects or drag them like it was always possible 2) You cannot edit shading objects by clicking on them. Only the biggest generator field when it was migrated from past versions Am I right? or maybe i need some tips for doing these 2 things... Thanx in advance, BR Tecnun

André, it says "backtracking strategy requires that you define your trackers in the 3D scene". We define them and it keeps on saying the same thing, in both 3D and orientation labels, may be you misunderstood me i meant backtraking parameters not tracking parameters (pitch, tracker width, misalign) looking fwd to your answer Best Regards Jose

Hi everyone, Is it possible to create an ASCII Meteo without linking it to a Site? If not would be possible to "dislink" them in order to avoid duplicates? The fact is that we usually use hourly data generation of each location and we are obliged to create a parallel site (manual or via Meteonorm or NASA), or at least we dont know how to avoid it... Thanks André, There are a lot believe me, not quite severe but in my opinion not proper for the best PV software of the Market, being fair there are also "tricks" for overcoming them but you have to work them out. For instance, i ll say one: The smaller the genset is, the better coverage you obtain, i mean in terms of solar fraction (direct or stored). Please try with examples. Of course I finally got rid of any generator and in the final tree I suppose all is left can be supplied by the generator, then I go to the hourly analysis and the rest is a good use of excel management, iterations and patience. If you let me go farther with these inconsistencies I can explain some more, specially in the hourly files (offgrid and ongrid) Best Regards Jose

Dear team, I am sorry to say that your stand alone simulations are very poor. At "the time of truth" (i m involved in a energization of an island) PVsyst is completely failing: 1) Hourly results are inconsistent. Whereas report says e.g that my system covers 45% (55% generator) when i make excel tables with hourly results it seems that hourly energy load is equal to energy for the user --> hour by hour along the whole year my system covers 100% 2) When I set a generator, magicly the smaller i choose it the better my system fullfils the loads along the year. 3) Sometimes when i add more batteries the results are better, or said in other words, sometimes i reduce for ex. a subsystem of 168 batteries (48 V system with 24 x 7) to only 3 parallels, and the result is almost the same...should we save now battery investment or again there is an inconsistency?? The fact is that i un capable to design the microgrid of this island, there are lots of money and prestige in this "game" and definitely I cannot rely on PVsyst. CAN YOU TEAM SOLVE SOMETHING OF THIS? Please Andre i wish you could work it out...maybe in new releases. BR José (Tecnun)

Ok i see the difficulty. Anyway let me suggest a completly opaque trunk and an homogenous transparency (defined by the user, like other objects) for the cup, this would have similar algorithms to the one you are already using, and give a more precise definition of shading scope on trees. Hello, I ve just had the same problem, the data, despite you fill eg 1990 (Dummy year) , turns to 0 and you cannot import. I ve solved with a tip: Setting in date format sequencial instead of reference year. BR Jose
