Nihal Meena
Hello, Can we incorporate parameters such as motor gap and piles gap in the near shading when creating the array of trackers? This way, the length of the trackers generated in the shading scene will align with the length of the trackers in my layout, accounting for these gaps. Michele Oliosi
Hi ! Currently, only the torque tube gap can be included in the tracker design. If the motor / pile gap is significant, I would suggest splitting the tracker into several trackers, with the size between the gaps as their individual size. Nihal Meena
This process might be time-consuming. Is there another way to incorporate the motor gap and pile gap in the tracker?
Michele Oliosi
Not really, but you can also choose to ignore these gaps. In some situations, they do not really affect the shadings much.
Nihal Meena
There is a 5 meters decrease in length of tracker in pvsyst because it only uses modules for tracker creation will this effect the results.
dtarin
Increase the number of modules to account for the correct total tracker length or approximately close. The difference in shading calculations with and without actual gaps is not significant.
