Shashank Sharma Posted March 14, 2024 Posted March 14, 2024 Hello PVsyst, Recently I have been working on a 6MWp rooftop solar power project where we are using Bifacial modules. In this project, there are four different tilts and four azimuths. So, my question is it possible to define the bifacial system in system definition? if yes then how? if not then how do I add the advantage to bifaciality in that simulation? Thank you Shashank
Michele Oliosi Posted March 14, 2024 Posted March 14, 2024 As was answered many times in the forum, in PVsyst v7 it is not possible to use the bifacial model with multiple orientations. You should simulate the orientations one by one.
Linda Thoren Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Hello, Indeed, in PVsyst version 8 you are able to define separate bifacial models, one for each fixed tilt or tracker orientation. However, dome configurations are not yet covered by this update. We will work on it for a future minor release.
