  1. Hello @Robin Vincent, I had a quick question related to a similar scenario. The system I’m working on has a target AC capacity of 900 kW. In PVsyst, I’ve modeled this using 27 units of 33.3 kW (SE100KUS equivalent), which corresponds to 9 inverters. However, PVsyst reflects the total AC capacity as 899 kW (27 × 33.3 = 899.1 kW, rounded). I wanted to clarify the following: Does PVsyst internally use 899 kWAC or 900 kWAC for generation calculations in this case? What would be the best way to model the system so that the AC capacity reflects exactly 900 kWAC instead of 899 kWAC? Appreciate your guidance on this. Thanks!
  2. Thanks a lot for your help, this worked.
  3. @Linda Thoren, Thank you for your suggestion. I've incorporated that, but after that, I am getting the new error as below. I assume, this was because of the 4 wide carport tables. To resolve this, I created another orientation for the 4 wide tables and created a separate sub-array too. But, then the new error was as follows. I think this is because there's only a single table of 4 wide array. Is that right? And what is the solution for this issue?
  4. Hi @Michele Oliosi and @Linda Thoren, I am working on a carport system and trying to model the Bifaciality correctly. The snip of the system and the bifacial modelling from PVsyst are attached below. I have 6 (majority) and 4 modules in portrait orientation in a carport table. But, the bifacial system definition shows the pitch and shed total width as 2.28m, which is only the length of a single module. When I try to model the system as per the actual array, i.e., 6 modules in portrait, making the shed total width 13.72 m and the effective pitch between the two arrays approx. 19.92m, the system definition brings back the shed total width to length of 1 module, i.e. 2.28m. Am I modelling the bifacial system correctly or is there something I am missing?
  5. Hi @Michele Oliosi, I, too, am looking for the individual inverter-level output data from the 8760. My system has 9 inverters. So, is it possible to get the individual inverter level generation data for each of the 9 inverters in separate columns after PVsyst simulation in the 8760 directly? Could you please guide me on this? Hi @solarDG1470, Did you figure out a way for this? Does PVsyst provide this data or is there some other way around? I would really appreciate it if you could share your knowledge on this. Thanks!
  6. Hi @Michele Oliosi, I am experiencing a similar issue currently. I've run two iterations of the same project in two different versions 8.0.14 and 8.0.19. All the parameters are the same. The Shadings: Electrical Loss acc. to strings in the latest version jumps to 15.1% compared to 4.1% from the previous version. Also, the Inverter loss over Nom. inverter power loss was 4.5% previously which later decreased to 0.5%. The loss diagrams from both versions are attached. Could you please help with this?
