Asyraf Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Hi all, Need help on this. I'm currently trying to simulate the generation difference by: 1. Connect 2 different orientations in a string using 1 MPPT 2. Connect 2 different orientations using different input under same MPPT I'm stuck at number 2 as unable/not sure to set the parameters under "system" Below are the specs for the simulation. Inverter: Solis S5-GR3P12K (2 MPPT 4 Inputs) Panel: JA 590W Test 1: MPPT 1 Input 1: 10 panels facing North Input 2: - MPPT 2 Input 1: 20 panels (East + South) Input 2: - Test 2: MPPT 1 Input 1: 10 panels facing North Input 2: - MPPT 2 Input 1: 10 panels facing East Input 2: 10 panels facing South Thanks for the support and advice in advance
Linda Thoren Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Hello, It is not possible to mix orientations in a string. It is possible to mix orientation in an MPPT, given that there is at least one string in each orientation. You find more information about this in the following PVsyst help: https://www.pvsyst.com/help/project-design/orientations-in-v8/mixed-orientations.html It is not possible in PVsyst to have empty MPPT inputs.
