legal
Hi, I have PVsyst v5 installed on one computer with a Q6600 processor and PVsyst v5 only uses 25% of processor (one core). There is a new version that uses full capacity of Core 2 Duo/Quadcore processors?Note1: If I use with a QuadCore (Four cores), PVsyst v5 uses 25% of processor capacity.Note2: If I use with a Core 2 Duo (Two core), PVsyst v5 uses 50% of processor capacity.Note3: If I use with a Pentium 4 with only one core, PVsyst v5 uses 100% of processor capacity. Julien Rosener
There is already a forum post about that: http://forum.pvsyst.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1283However, we have to deeply modify PVsyst to distribute calculation on all cores. We are currently discussing about this topic.
