legal Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Hi, I have PVsyst v5 installed on one computer with a Q6600 processor and PVsyst v5 only uses 25% of processor (one core). There is a new version that uses full capacity of Core 2 Duo/Quadcore processors?Note1: If I use with a QuadCore (Four cores), PVsyst v5 uses 25% of processor capacity.Note2: If I use with a Core 2 Duo (Two core), PVsyst v5 uses 50% of processor capacity.Note3: If I use with a Pentium 4 with only one core, PVsyst v5 uses 100% of processor capacity.
legal Posted February 3, 2014 Author Posted February 3, 2014 I'm the only one that have this limitation??????
Julien Rosener Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 There is already a forum post about that: http://forum.pvsyst.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1283However, we have to deeply modify PVsyst to distribute calculation on all cores. We are currently discussing about this topic.
