Salvo
Hi everyone, I tried to import a plant layout (DWG) into Pvsyst, converting it into DAE. The problem is that it is very heavy to manage, so I thought about using the PVC format to see if it is easier to manage by the program. Is it possible to convert a DWG/DXF file to PVC? Thanks in advance Regards
Stéphane Degré
Dear Salvo, Thank you for reaching out. There is no way to convert DWG/DXF files to PVC files. However the conversion from DWG to DAE shouldn't be very complex. Here is a thread explaining how to do it : https://forum.pvsyst.com/topic/3210-how-to-convert-an-autocad-dwg-to-dae-from-sketchup-in-order-to-import-it-to-pvsyst/#comment-8774 I hope this helps.
