herminator Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 HI, I have noticed that once introducing the pitch as 5.65m for SAT with backtracking I got a difference it the report as below: 5.65!=5.69 What is the reason as in the trackers and ground parameters I also have 5.65m. Please advise why there difference and what can be an impact on final yield. Regards-Maciej
dtarin Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 (edited) Have you defined a frame size? Edited April 24, 2023 by dtarin
Michele Oliosi Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 It may be related to a new bug that affects PVsyst when importing 3D scenes: the backtracking parameters are not always updated. Until we have corrected the bug, you can go to the 3D scene and open Tools > Backtracking management. There you can select a tracker in the list or enter the values manually.
herminator Posted April 25, 2023 Author Posted April 25, 2023 Hi both, Thank you for the prompt reply. It seems that this is bug in the reporting section. I guess it doesn't affect results.
Michele Oliosi Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 @herminator are you sure that it is only in the report? As mentioned these values should come from the 3D scene > Tools > Backtracking management, and these are important for the simulation. I woudl suggest double checking that.
herminator Posted May 12, 2023 Author Posted May 12, 2023 Thank you Michele. I will double check it and let you know.
