Preliminary design

Hi,

We have large-scale solar PV system and the total area of the PV power plant of 95 (hectare). Now we want to make preliminary design for this project just to estimate the the capacity MWp this fits to this area and also we want to estimate the energy yield MWh/year.

I started with preliminary design option in PVsyst, but I don't know how can I translate 95 ha to one of these "Array specification" options. 

As I understood the "active area" option refers to the area of the PV modules not the area of the PV power plant. 

Please can you give me an idea how can I estimate 95 ha here in the preliminary design?

Dear Andel,

Usually we can estimate that 1 ha corresponds to 1 MWp of PV module.

In the preliminary design in PVsyst " Grid system pre-sizing , is there any possibility to estimate the capacity and yield of the project by using GCR?
