  2. I really appreciate your response and thank you for the detailed information. Just I still face some difficulties to understand the partition for the table 2x12, since I am using half cut cell why I don't apply the same technique of the tables 2x24 for the tables 2x12?
  3. Hi PVsyst team, Hopefully I can get support from PVsyst team for my question. I have layout for solar park that was made in PVcase software. I imported the 3D scene from PVcase into PVsyst. The next step should be "The partition" for electrical shadings calculations. I am a bit confused and I am really not sure if I made the correct partition in PVsyst and I hope to confirm or correct me if the partition that I made is not correct. I should mention here the tables in the layout are divided into two groups, tables with 2 rows and each row is 24 modules (2 strings, one for upper part and another for the lower part), and tables with 2 rows and each row is 12 modules (1 string for the whole table). See the attached picture that shows the tables shape in PVcase. Now when I imported the layout into PVsyst I made the partition as such: for the tables with 2 rows and each row is 24 modules (two strings) I set the value of Nb.rectangles in height (Y) to be 2 and the value of Nb.rectangles in length(X) to be 1. See the named picture "Tables of two strings". Then for the tables that with one string I set the value of Nb.rectangles in height (Y) to be 1 and the value of Nb.rectangles in length(X) to be 1. See the named picture "Tables of one string". Is that what I did as partition in PVsyst correct? I really appreciate any kind help or support from PVsyst team in this regards. This is very important to know because it represent one of our solar parks design . Thank you in advance.

    Hi Linda, Unfortunately the specific production kWh/kWp/year for P50, P90 don't exist in the report. Can you refer to this case that you mentioned and indicate where I can find these values P50, P90 in KWh/KWp/Year? Thank you in advance
  6. Hi PVsyst, Hopefully I get response for this important question. I attached part of PVsyst report related to one project and we need to provide both P50, and P90 in KWh/KWp. These information are required by the bank. How can I get these values since in the report we have P50, P90 in MWh not in KWh/KWp?. Thank you in advance,

  8. Hi PVsyst team, I am doing preliminary design for large-scale solar parks with total available area of 80 hectares. I have estimated the GCR of 50% and pitch of 10m and then the results showed that the nominal power is 84000 KWp. After that with same total area and with same GCR I have just changed the pitch to 8m but I got same results 84000 KWp !! How that can happen for same area with different pitch values I get same results for the total nominal power? Are there some assumptions in PVsyst for calculating the total nominal power and why the the results didn't change ??
  9. Hi PVsyst team, The weather file that is used in the simulation of aging tool is generic year. How can I use series of multiple year data for example from 2005 to 2020 instead of generic year for the stimulation?

    Hi PVsyst team Hopefully we can get some guidelines from PVsyst team for this complicated subject of P50, P90 of energy yield. What value should be plugged in for climate change and annual variability? Is there any research article to refer to or white paper that established what % to use with confidence level? Are these values "climate change and annual variability" related to P50, P75, P90? How can we get P50 energy yield for 25 years in PVsyst report? How can extract P90 energy yield for 25 years in PVsyst? There are some uncertainties which are not included in the simulation such as meteto data uncertainty (PVgis), Uncertainty of inter annual variations of solar irradiation, Uncertainty related to the irradiation transposition algorithm, and uncertainty of PVsyst simulation. How can we handle these values in the simulation of P50, P90? Thank you in advance

In the report there is warning and error message as follow: *** Warnings during the initialization: Initialization;The clearness index of the best clear days seems high with respect to the clear day model. Is related to PVsyst itself or Should I modify something to avoid this message?

    Preliminary design

    Thank you for your answer In the preliminary design in PVsyst " Grid system pre-sizing , is there any possibility to estimate the capacity and yield of the project by using GCR?
  15. Hi, We have large-scale solar PV system and the total area of the PV power plant of 95 (hectare). Now we want to make preliminary design for this project just to estimate the the capacity MWp this fits to this area and also we want to estimate the energy yield MWh/year. I started with preliminary design option in PVsyst, but I don't know how can I translate 95 ha to one of these "Array specification" options. As I understood the "active area" option refers to the area of the PV modules not the area of the PV power plant. Please can you give me an idea how can I estimate 95 ha here in the preliminary design?
