Caroline F. Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Hi, I want to import 10 minutes own measured data. PVSyst interpolate 1 hour data. Is it possible to simulate with 10 minutes data? Thanks for your help!
Michele Oliosi Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 No sorry, PVsyst only works with hourly simulation steps. This is why PVsyst can import sub-hourly data but will always eventually summarize the data as hourly data.
dtarin Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 You can change your timestamps and import "10 hours" of data, and then change the timestamps after simulation to minutes.
Caroline F. Posted February 15, 2023 Author Posted February 15, 2023 Thank you for your answers but I didn t understand correctly. How would it works with the timestamps?
kennyyan Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 Hello, Dtarin. You can change your timestamps and import "10 hours" of data, and then change the timestamps after simulation to minutes. If I understand this correctly, this means after simulation result is generated, the corresponding power generation data also correspond to the power generation per minute? if i have 15 mins step ambient data for one year, Can i simulate 4 times in pvsyst so that i can get 15 mins production report?

There is the problem of sun direction, I think doing this would get that incorrectly. However you can split in several files for each minute stamp and simulate each one with the proper time shift, that should do the trick.
