tecnun
Dear friends,I´ve always had a simple question about the shadows from the trees. Is there absolute opacity (even on the branches)? Or you guys define a default thin object transparency factor...Thanx in advance, my best regardsJose
André Mermoud
Yes in the present time the tree are considered as absolutely opaque. It would be very complex to define a semi-opaque shading in our calculation framework. And moreover changing along the year ...
tecnun
Ok i see the difficulty. Anyway let me suggest a completly opaque trunk and an homogenous transparency (defined by the user, like other objects) for the cup, this would have similar algorithms to the one you are already using, and give a more precise definition of shading scope on trees. My best regardsJose
