Import xxxxxhour.dat files

I would like to import several hour.dat files. I can view the data in the files when I open them with Notepad but I receive errors when importing to PVsyst:

File "Atiu-hour.dat": read error

This is not a valid Hourly Meteonorm file!

For getting a valid Hourly file, please open METEONORM, choose "Format"/"PVsyst" (in the main menu if MN version 5.0), and then save your Hourly data!

The Meteonorm Hourly file name for PVsyst should end with "HOUR.DAT"

The file I have does end with "HOUR.DAT" How can I import it?

Make sure that this file is issued from the program Meteonorm, with the correct mention "Output for PVsyst" chosen at the export time.

We didn't have any complaints about the import of hourly files correctly created by Meteonorm since more than 15 years.
