Simulation output parameters

Hello, i'm using the batch simulation on the latest version for Soitec's CPV module , may i know what is the Foc loss parameter ( focalization loss ) ? is it due to the alignment of the tracker or some optical loss ?

i didn't find anything in the index

The Focalization loss arises indeed when the trackers are not pointing to the sun.

- In the simulation, this arises when the sun is outside of the tracking limits.

- In the reality, this could be produced by any misrunning of the tracking system. Remember that with 500x concentration, the acceptance angle is less than 1° or even 0.5°.
