michael Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I am working on single-axis (N-S) tracking project where I need to stop the tracker at 12 noon and start it again at 3 PM. Between 12 noon and 3 pm, the tracker should stay at its 12 noon position, and at 3 pm it should move to its 3 pm position and continue as normal for the rest of the day. Is there a way either to simulate this behavior directly, or to get a result using the model outputs and some post-processing? Thanks.
André Mermoud Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 There is no way for doing this directly in PVsyst. However you can perform a simulation with the tracking option, and another one with a fixed plane at the "blocked" position. For each simulation you can produce an hourly file. In EXCEL, you can mix your 2 runs by choosing some hours with tracking and some hours with fixed plane.
