Israel Pinto Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Hello everyone, I need to use the Batch Simulation mode in PVSyst to simulate the annual generation over a 20-year period. This means the same simulation will run 20 times, with the only difference being the accumulated degradation level from one year to the next. My issue is the number of times the Near Shading calculation is performed in the 3D scenario—once per simulation. Is there a way, using Batch Mode, for PVSyst to calculate the Near Shading loss only in the first simulation and then use that value for the remaining simulations? The problem is making the simulation very slow, exceeding three hours. These simulations will consider a 3D scenario of the plant, designed in PVCase and imported into PVSyst. Tank you in advance!
Israel Pinto Posted Thursday at 02:36 PM Author Posted Thursday at 02:36 PM Hi dtarin. Thanks for feedbak. I don't know this simulation mode? How make that?
Israel Pinto Posted Thursday at 02:44 PM Author Posted Thursday at 02:44 PM Hi dtarin. Yes, I used the Fast Mode. Tanhks.
Michele Oliosi Posted Friday at 09:26 AM Posted Friday at 09:26 AM Hi ! Which version of PVsyst are you running ? We will make some checks to see if we can reproduce this behavior
Israel Pinto Posted Monday at 02:11 PM Author Posted Monday at 02:11 PM Hi Michele. I'm running the PVSyst 7.4. Thanks.
Michele Oliosi Posted Monday at 03:09 PM Posted Monday at 03:09 PM I see, I have checked and indeed this is not the case. PVsyst 8 also has the same issue. I have created a ticket to fix this in a future patch.
