Joe Hollingsworth Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Hi there, I am trying to do batch runs with Pitch and number of strings as my variables. In the "plane orientation" tab. There is no option for pitch as a variable. I am used to seeing in there. I suspect this may be an issue with the orientations manager? Is there anything that would prevent pitch as being an option on this tab?
Sofia Nunez Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Hi, in Pvsyst version 8.0.6 you find the option to change the pitch. At least between trackers. However, when we run the batch mode, the GlobInc shows the same values, which it doesn't make sense. Anybody can explain me if I'm doing somehing wrong?
RobSolar Posted January 23 Posted January 23 wow really? I hope they did not remove this option, it was really really helpful.
André Mermoud Posted February 9 Posted February 9 The GlobInc value is the result of the transpositiom model, and therefore independent on the mutual shadings. However with tracking systems, the tracker's position - and therefore the GlobInc - is indeed dependent on the pitch when you are using backtracking mode. Please check that in your simulations the backtracking is activated.
