Hello!

I am simulating a PV plant with strings of 28 modules. Additionally, I am using half-strings (1 x 14) and quarter-strings (1 x 7) in portrait orientation.

My question is: Is the partitioning I’ve set up correct? Could you please provide an answer , as i need it badly for my project. and also i want to ask more explanation about 1row  portrait and half strings in partitioning for the electrical calculation .

-the firs image is for quarter-strings 1p x 7 modules

-the second one is for half strings 1p x 14 modules

-and the third one is for the complete strings 1 p x 28 modules

In all three cases, you should put X = 2, Y = 1. Indeed, you have at most one string per table. Y, for NS-axis trackers, should be the number of strings longitudinally. If there is a fraction of a string (such as in the case of half- or quarter-strings), you can leave Y = 1 as well.
