Aina Posted August 11 Posted August 11 I've modelled a fixed-tilt grid-connected system and these are the results. Energy production does not follow the yearly irradiance trend. The location is in the southern hemisphere so winter is during the months of Apr-Sept so the irradiance is lower so the energy prod should subsequently be lower as well no? I'm not sure where I went wrong.
Michele Oliosi Posted August 12 Posted August 12 If you look at the irradiance on the plane (GlobInc) you can see that it is fairly similar throughout the year. The chosen orientation is giving a push to the production in winter.
