Giovanni Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Hello my name is Giovanni and I am new here, I need to make a project for my university and it consists of creating a PV model that spits out the maximum power for given irradiance and temperature, i think i have everything but i am missing a formula for Rs (equivalent series resistance). What i mean by it is that i need a formula that describes how it varies depending on irradiance and temperature in that moment. I have looked on many books and websites but i did not find anything and not even on any forum related to PVsyst, can you guys help me? Thank you so much
Michele Oliosi Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Hi, This recent publication may be useful to you. https://www.pvsyst.com/wp-content/publications/2023/2023_PVsyst_OneDiodeModel_EUPVSEC.pdf Actually, we fix Rs according to low-light data, i.e., there is no temperature or irradiance dependence in this parameter. Let me know if I misunderstood your question !
