Why is the maximum number of bypass diodes 5？

dear all,

When creating a panfile, the number of bypass diodes cannot exceed 5. I would like to know if this is due to characteristics considerations or if this number can be higher, but the current version does not yet support it? please clarify it.

The number means functional by-pass diode. This means the by-pass diodes determining a sub-module.

Some manufacturers put 2 by-pass diodes in parallel for each submodule. This should be accounted as one only.

I don't know any module configuration with more than 5  sub-modules.
