Loss of generation due to Tracker angle offset from Meteo.

Recommended Posts

We have to understand what will be the loss of energy generation per tracker table for variation in inclination of +/- 1 degree, +/- 2 degree, +/- 5 degree and so on from the actual meteo data due to motor movement issues, Programming issues, Structural miss alignment issues and so on.

Can anyone shed light on how to simulate the same on PV syst to account for the losses of generation due to error in tracking angle.

If the tracker has stopped working or it got some movement due to external / other force. So how much difference will occur in irradiance or generation due to changed tracking angle.
