tshaw Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I am currently running PVsyst 5.69 on my desktop and have a trial version of 6.11 on my laptop. I am finding that when I run the same simulation between both machines it is giving me different values with the GlobInc on the simulation report. This therefore is causing a discrepancy in my final production numbers. I am using the same meteo file and components for both, so I am wondering how this value is calculated and if there is a way to determine which one is more accurate. Thank you.
André Mermoud Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 In the version 5, the default transposition model was the Hay model. In the version 6, the default has been changed to the Perez model, as according a recent study it appears as slightly better. See in the FAQ, the differences in yield between the version 6 and the version 5.
