k7524000 Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 I have a question. In the unlimited sheds, I need to put number of string. This is the number of sub-modules(cell strings) in a row(shed)?Or it is the number of modules in parallel in a row?
SE2015 Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 The "Nb. of strings (transverse)" refers to the number of modules you have stacked in one table. But, if you are using MLPE such as microinverters or power optimizers, you need to specify the number of sub-modules, not modules. So for example, if you have a table that is 4 modules high, in landscape, then you will usually specify "4" in the Nb of strings. But, for the same system using SolarEdge power optimizers, for instance, you will specify "12" (because there are 3 sub-strings per module).
k7524000 Posted February 5, 2018 Author Posted February 5, 2018 Thank you for your detailed information. Here is one more question. If I have one row with two strings(without MLPE), the number of strings is one or two?Thank you.
k7524000 Posted February 16, 2018 Author Posted February 16, 2018 If the number of string is the number of strings in the width of a row, it should be one, isn't it?(The case is one row with two strings without MLPE.)
k7524000 Posted February 28, 2018 Author Posted February 28, 2018 Thank you for your illustration. So my answer was correct.Thanks.
