Cutting objects out of zone

Hi,

I am trying to put pv panels on a flat roof where there are several objects. I have drawn those objects but PVsyst is still putting tables on them, which I don't want. Is there anyways to delete parts out of a zone?

And how are planes used? is it an alternativ for zones?

Hi emilie_g,

Once your zone is created with tables, you can uncheck the zone icon at the top menu bar, and then simply shift+click the modules you want to remove from the zone and press delete.

As solarguru suggested you can indeed delete the unwanted tables afterwards.

We are aware that an "excluded-parts" feature would be a great enhancement for the tool though !

A current workaround I am using is to "snake" in an exclusion zone, like in the below image.
