rglokkesh Posted January 26, 2017 Share Posted January 26, 2017 guys i really get confused on farshading and near shading?in far shading it was said that "The Far Shadings operate in an ON/OFF mode: i.e. at a given time, the sun is or is not present on thefield". but the sun keeps changing its position and will the shading also changes? If the sun is apparent during 20 minutes, and below the horizon during 40 minutes (theoretical sun position), then the simulation will account for 1/3 of the beam component for this hour.
