actually what is the difference between far shading and near shading? also it was mentioned that " The Far Shadings operate in an ON/OFF mode" if so why it is asking the azimuth angle and height? please some body explain this digram, becuase only upto some time only the black shown that is after that the solar panel is not getting the shadow.

guys i really get confused on farshading and near shading? in far shading it was said that "The Far Shadings operate in an ON/OFF mode: i.e. at a given time, the sun is or is not present on the field". but the sun keeps changing its position and will the shading also changes?
