paia
As per the External Transformer Losses described here: http://files.pvsyst.com/help/index.html?external_transformer_loss.htm Following your example:A PV system of PnomDC = 1.05 MWp, and efficiency of 95% at PNom, will result in- PNomAC = 1 MWac. How is the efficiency at PNom calculated or determined from the OND file? Especially when PNomDC >> PNomAC? Can this be explained in a bit more detail? Please advise. Thank you very much.Regards,Pai
André Mermoud
In this case you can take the efficiency of the inverter at PNom (i.e. the extremity of the efficiency curve).By the way this value is not critical in the approximate evaluation described in the Help. We are aware that this definition is not quite satisfactory, and we are preparing a new approach using the effective transformer properties.
