    Please make a tool which calculates the total area of PV layout. In PVsyst I can only see the active area e.g. the area of PV modules only. But in this active area the pitch between PV modules is not included. It is also useful to include this option in the optimization tool where we can find the best layout depending of the area size. In the optimization tool there is no option to limit the area size.
