  1. Hello, I have a problem concerning partitionning. My layout looks like this : I used the Voltec pv pannels that cannot be used with the layout tool, so I used the partitions like this : I end up having more than a 6 % loss for the electrical loss according to partitions: I then changed the pv panels to the Jinko ones, that can be used for the detailed electrical calculation, to compare the loss. I only have a 0.82% loss. How can this be explained ? I may not use the partition tool the right way. Thank you for your answer.
  2. Please make a tool which calculates the total area of PV layout. In PVsyst I can only see the active area e.g. the area of PV modules only. But in this active area the pitch between PV modules is not included. It is also useful to include this option in the optimization tool where we can find the best layout depending of the area size. In the optimization tool there is no option to limit the area size.
