Grid Power Limitation: The option "Account as separate loss" in the menu grid power limitation may pose a problem when used together with a power factor. However the loss diagram and .csv simulation output are not affected. Hourly Graphs may be affected upon context: When the simulation variables EReGrid, EApGrid and EGrdLim are not explicitly saved, it can trigger wrong calculations of the reactive and apparent energy in the hourly plots (too high values for both). Saving those variables in the menu "Advanced simulation / Hourly data storage" solves the issue: Until the option is fixed in a future version, the software will display a warning when both options are used together.

I have a variant of a project in which the 8760 file shows that E_Grid column is not reaching the defined "Grid power limitation" of 25 MW in "Energy Management" and yet there is some energy discarded as EGRdLim in the 8760 file. What makes it more confusing is that I'm copying from a variant that is working well, and just changing the orientation to domes. I'm attaching a capture of some of those cases. Any thoughts on what I may be missing? Thanks!

Hello, I'm working on a PV project that is divided into 9 zones, each with its own grid export limit of 4.44 MW AC. Overpaneling is allowed, so the DC side can exceed this limit. In total, the full plant would have 40 MW AC and potentially more on the DC side. I know PVsyst allows setting a Grid Power Injection Limit at the system level, but I haven't found a way to apply individual grid export limits per zone within a single simulation. Is there a way to simulate per-zone injection limits in one project? Or is it necessary to simulate each zone separately and then aggregate the results? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Team, I am using PVsyst version 7.4 right now and my project design is 145 MWp DC capacity, 110 MW AC capacity, and a grid limit (connection agreement) of 90 MW. I am getting more than 90 MW in many hourly instances, but even applying the the grid limit of 90 MW at the injection level (not at the inverter level), the output is reduced drastically and does not reach 90 MW even at a single instance. The highest value for the hour I am getting is just 81.50 MW. I believe this can be the case if we apply the limit at the inverter level but should not be case for the project when a limit is applied and the injection level. Also, I have tried switching between applying the limitation at the inverter and at the injection point and the simulation is no different despite AC ohmic and transformer losses. This also seems strange. Thank you
