I am currently using version 6.68 and still having this issue with SolarEdge optimizers. As soon as I select one type of optimizer the software freezes. I cannot go around this even trying different order of selecting inverters/optimizers. Is there a way to make this work? Thanks.

Thanks Sylvain. Has anyone experience problems with the ground object scaling being removed after reopening the project? I have experienced this with different projects and it is time consuming having to re-apply scaling with correct referenced dimensions. I am wondering how could I avoid this? Thanks.

Hi Andre, I am trying to model a simple single phase solaredge system with the new v.6.6.4 and I do not seem to have the option for the string size actually allowed by Solaredge with P400 optimizers into a 5 KW SE inverter. I am using JA solar 320 W modules and I believe that I should be able to string 15 modules in series. The guidleines from SolarEdge allow up to 5,250W strings however I am getting a message that the only string size possible is 8 modules, due to total power condition. Can you please explain why I have this limit? Thanks sreenshot of error

The problem that I have when importing a ground image to PVsyst is scaling it. When selecting X1 and X2 and setting the distance between these points The image is not scaled to the distance I entered but always to 100 meters. When I measure the distance with the measuring tool in PVsyst I get exactly 100 meters and not the distance that I entered which in this case is 366 meter. I cannot get it to work. Any ideas? Thanks.

This makes sense to me as far as additional shading loss considered due to lower diffuse irradiance but could you expand on the Albedo effect. Is the Albedo factor from a nearby object necessary a loss? what if the object has a white high reflecting surface? Thanks.

HI. I've seen a couple of old posts regarding Solaredge strings with panels at different orientations. I have a similar situation where at least one string on the same inverter will have panels at opposite sides of the roof ridge while this is totally fine with Solaredge optimizer architecture. Is there any update in this regards with newer versions of PVsyst? Thanks.
