By reading and try and error, I found the solution: PANs saved with >V6.8.0 are encoded with UTF-8, this format cannot be read by >V6.4. Therefore you have to change the coding (e.g. with Editor).

Is it possible to create PAN-files with PVsyst-versions 6.8.x which can be used in former versions (younger then 6.4.x but older then 6.8.x)? If I use the save mode "File compatible with older versions < V6.40", not all features (e.g. IAM-values, Twin-half cell design etc.) are saved. Would be nice if an additional save mode could be implemented for >V6.40 and Thanks

Hello, I just updated PVsyst to V6.68 to avoid problems with the IAM topic which was mentioned by André Mermoud. Unfurtunatelly it seems to be still a problem, now all modules which are included in the original PVsyst database do not include a customized IAM. Did someone else detected such issue? BR eherz
