  1. Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to introduce a real event occurring at one PV site into a simulation, which is the ramp-up limitation of the PPC that only allows a setpoint of 20% of the MEC (maximum export capacity). I.e., because of that, the inverters power output does not follow immediately the growths in irradiation at the same speed. Would it be possible to introduce any parameter in the simulation that imitate that behaviour to account that losses? I really appreciate any help you can provide. Best regards.
  2. Thanks a lot for your answer. So, recapitulating, in the "unavailability time fraction" box I include the percentage of unavailability that the plant has. But isn't it relevant to modify the number of periods? considering that I have no further details beyond 95% availability. Thanks again.
  3. Hello, and sorry for stepping in. I have a question regarding this matter. I am not clear about the concept of unavailability for simulations. Could you confirm how I need to indicate in the system losses that the current availability provided by a client for the simulation of a site is 95%? Thanks in advance. Best regards
  4. Hi @Linda Thoren, Thanks for your answer. I have also seen in the help section that it is possible to define a (created) degraded module (i.e. by modifying the PAN file). I wanted to confirm with you if that is equivalent to using the 'Ageing section' for the old modules and how should it be used. Thank you in advance. Best regards,
  5. How to simulate a site in which I have part of the modules installed for 10 years to which I want to apply degradation and part of the modules are new to install now? To provide context, I have a site where approximately half of the panels that were installed 10 years ago are going to be replaced with modules of the same Peak Power but a different, more efficient model. I want to run a simulation where part of the site has modules that are degraded in year 10 and part of the same site in the simulation has the new modules just installed. How could I do this in PVsyst? Thanks in advance.
  6. Hello @Stéphane Degré, Many thanks for confirming. Do you know if there is an alternative that could be used in a similar way? Thanks, Auxi
  7. @Michele Oliosi Hello, I am having the same issue that @dtarin mentioned before, and I was wondering if it is something that has been already updated. I do not know if there is a way to proceed to calculate the tilt for a given group of trackers when I only want to modify the terrain.
