  1. Hey Andre , I wanted to know as to how PVsyst takes into account the Positive tolerance of the module in the calculation? Like you've explained in your article , for a Tolerance of 0 to +3 % , you take quarter which is -0.75% indicating over performance , Does this mean that while calculating the software will randomly generate modules with a Peak power varying from 0% ( Rated Name plate [power ) to 0.75% (that is Rated + 0.75% * Rated Name plate Power) Extra power ? What if i take it zero ? Since the Tolerance has already been Mentioned in the PAN File.
  2. Ok. Thank you for the quick response. As far as contacting someone from 3 Tier goes ,the only issue is I'm situated in India the communication chain is too long since it (3Tier) was acquired by a finnish company some time in '12 . Nevertheless i will send a mail from my end. :)
  3. Hello , I use a licensed version (V 5.74) of PVsyst , I'm planning to put up a PO for 3 Tier TMY data for a particular location, they offer the data in .tm2 & csv format , I requested a sample file of the reports generated in both formats , upon attempting the import of these files an Error popped up in both these formats. Error for the .tm2 file was : -> The file is not a valid US-TMY file , the Extension should be .TM2(for TMY2) or .CSV(for TMY3) Error for the 3 Tier worldwide .csv file was : -> This file is not a valid PVsyst standard Meteo file All the lines of the header should begin with a # character Please help Thanks in advance
  4. Thanks i just installed the beta version ,will do so .
  5. Im sorry i still don't understand how to utilize this option i'll explain my requirement I have a 10 degree tilt roof, 100m^2 on each of east and west side,(Approx 31.2kWp in total) I wish to know the performance, output of the entire system so i selected the heterogeneous option and set the azimuths at 90 and -90 and kept both orientations at 50% and 1)take two inverters in total (1 for each subfield) and about 8% undersized. 2) take a single inverter with a multi mppt input (after checking the "mixed orientations " ) In the second option i end up with three fields the last one being a mixed field, this field adds up the total power i.e 31.2 x3 !! I want an output file that shows the values if i were to use a single inverter configuration for both sides of the roof. What am i doing wrong ?
