asboulton Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Is it possible to produce a report after carrying out a batch simulation? While the .csv output can be useful for analysis, a report format would make the batch processing much more useful for presenting results.
André Mermoud Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 The batch is meant for analysis and comparison of several executions one with respect to the another one, and for any specified variable. There are hundreds of ways using this functionnality. I really don't see how to present a meaningful report.
asboulton Posted September 24, 2014 Author Posted September 24, 2014 I understand that batch simulations are primarily used for data and design analysis. However, with simulations taking a long time to run (1-2 hours+) it would also be useful to create individual .pdf reports for each simulation being run in a batch.Apologies if my meaning was not clear.
André Mermoud Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 In the batch mode you can ask for saving the simulated results as "calculation versions" (VCi files) or not. The view of the report (and therefore the PDF) for an existing VCi file is straightforward, you don't need to perform the simulation again.
