emily.denz Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Hello, I am constructing a PVsyst simulation with a topographic TIFF sheet and a Google Maps image in the background. There seems to be an error, as you can see in the picture. This concerns a hill that is being covered. What exactly does the error message mean, and what can I do to resolve it? Thank you.
Jéremie Bernier Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Hello, Averaged orientations have a fixed tolerance on the maximum angles difference between the fields planes and the orientation's tilt and azimuth. This means for example that the field #12175 in your scene has a difference of 8.4° with its averaged orientation. When this value is above a certain threshold, PVsysts considers that the computations will be less relevant. You have 2 options: - move some fields in a new orientation: select fields in the Scene objects list, right click on the selection and click on 'Create orientation from the selection' - increase the tolerance 'Maximum orient. difference for defining average (spread) orientation' in 'Other limitations' tab of the project settings
