Vamsee Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Hi Team, In one our sites which had just completed the construction we are facing a peculiar problem. The site top of pile elevations have not been done perfectly by the EPC and we are trying to gauge the impact of the same on the shading. We have adjusted the Tracker table heights as per the As-Built of the site and tried to import in PVsyst. Initial simulations indicate that there is no change in the Shading losses (both near shading and electrical shading). However, we think that in 1 tracker table the North to South orientation may not be perfect and may have different orientations considering the site topography. Does PVsyst has a way to consider this point in to the simulations for understanding the shading losses. If you see in the image, you can find that the trackers are not following the slope of natural terrain and they are placed in a manner that 1 tracker is 12"higher and the other lower. Regards, Vamsee
