Kshitij Bhargava Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Why am I getting inferior value of annual Egrid when I am feeding better values of Voc, Isc, Vmpp and Impp? I can notice a significant difference in Temperature induced PV loss (in loss diagrams). The cell parameters of Cell 1A is inferior than Cell 24D, however their Egrid is reverse. How to resolve?
dtarin Posted February 10 Posted February 10 The first module is not "inferior", module efficiency is 20% vs 17%, making it the better module. There must also be a significant difference in the temperature coefficient.
André Mermoud Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Please check the definition of the PV module of your first simulation. The temperature behavior is certainly false. A temperature loss of 0.7% is completely out of expected range. Except of you are at th North pole, a temperature loss is always several percents. Your second simulation shows a a reasonable temperature loss.
