Hello,

Currently working on a PV plan layout design and I am mostly having a hard time "editting" the PV panels directions. When I insert the panels I designed in Rhino3d to PVsyst they don't have the right direction (not coordinates). When I edit the tilt in my panels they change from portrait to landscape and fall on each other.

Moreover the contours I inserted from Rhino to PVsyst, I get the fault in the picture I attached.

I know it's a little complicated what I'm trying to say. But any help/guide will be much appreciated 😁

Dear Gordonbrazell,

Could you please share the 3D file with us at support@pvsyst.com so that we can investigate and understand what happens when it's imported into PVsyst?

Could you also mention in the email the initial orientation you intended?

Regards,

Muhammed Sarikaya

Regarding the orientation and tilt angle of the panel, I recommend you to double check the normal orientation in Rhino before exporting the file, because PVsyst reads the orientation according to the default Z+.
