battery state of charge Battery State of Charge at The Start of The Simulation

Hallo,

I am Ari, an electrical engineer from engineering consultant in Indonesia.

I have an issue about battery state of charge (SoC) either for beginning of interval or end of interval when running “Advanced Simulation”.

Why at the start of the simulation on 1st of January at 00:00, battery SoC is only 50% to 60% not fully charged condition between 90% to 100%?
What the assumption applied for the battery SoC so it’s only about 50% to 60%?

Can it be set or adjusted to 90% or 100%?

Please advise.

In the yearly simulation, the initial battery state has almost no impact on the yearly results.

Now the initial state is a choice of PVsyst. There is no reason to suppose 90%, 100% or 10%.  However this initial SOC may be modified in the advanced parameters.

In the main menu, please open "Settings => Edit advanced parameters => Batteries",  iten 301 "Initial SOC for simulation".
