Claire Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Why is the global incident in coll. plane percent in my loss diagram results after simulation +0.0% with no value?
Muhammed Sarikaya Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Dear Claire, In 'orientation,' the method you use to define the position of the PV module will impact the 'global incident in coll. plane.' You probably defined the orientation with a 0° tilt, which is why you are seeing a 0% percentage. Could you please check the orientation and let us know? Regards, Muhammed Sarikaya
Claire Posted April 15, 2024 Author Posted April 15, 2024 Yes, it is true. My tilt angle is 0 degrees since my field type is Tracking, horizontal N-S and has Azimuth of 0 degrees too. This is not the first time simulating with this orientation, but it is the first time I am getting a 0% percent on Global Inc. in coll. plane. I looked into it and found out that maybe the transposition model may contribute, but my transposition is on Hay Model and the meteo file is PVGIS.TMY. And the problem persists. I have attached my orientation board just incase.
Muhammed Sarikaya Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Dear Claire, Is it possible for you to send us your project as a zip file to support@pvsyst.com? I need to investigate and understand what the problem is? Regards, Muhammed Sarikaya
Claire Posted April 15, 2024 Author Posted April 15, 2024 Thank you Mohammed. I have sent the zipped file of the project via the provided email. I look forward to hearing from you. Regards, Claire.
