Performance Ratio calculation

Hi Andre,

Why does PVsyst calculate PR using module area as opposed to cell area? It seems like cell area would define all active generating area as opposed to module area which would include non-conductive materials like frame and exposed backsheet.

The Performance Ratio PR does not depend on either the module area or the cell area. The only module (or array) -specific information that is needed to calculate the PR, is the nominal power of the module or array, as specified by the manufacturer.
