Hello,

Ive been having this problem in PVsyst output files.

The hourly data file in the .csv format contains numbers with dots, so far so usual. But excel recocnizes some of those numbers with dots that count as a comma, and some with dots that count as a european delimiter (as in 10.000 m).

This results in completely unrealistic values. 150.36 kW of electrical power inserted to the grid on a certain hour can be read as 150,3 kW or 150.360 kW

I tried to convert the .csv file into an usual .xls file

I also tried in excel: File < Options < advanced < Use delimiter character accordingly to OS language setting, but the problem keeps on occuring.

Is there a solution to this subject?

Sincerely,

Paul
