I would like to know why the equation for the loss factor U is [uv+Uc*wind ], it seems to me that it should be [uv-Uc*wind] but of course I must be wrong. I understand that when there is more wind, there is more heat transfer so the heat would dissipate better at high wind speeds. But the formula suggests that when there is more wind the losses increase. Can anyone explain me this?
