Temperature change in Meteonom 7.2 vs Real time

Hi,

While generating a new site file and meteo file, the monthly temperature value taken by Metenom 7.2 is much lower than the real time temperature. I have used a site at Trichy, Tamilnadu, India where the real time average temperature is 33.5°C whereas Meteonom 7.2 gives a temperature of 27°C. Do we have to change the temperature according to real time manually or does PVsyst account for it during simulation?

Speaking of that, where does the software take its values from? Maybe it's an average temperature for 24 hours that includes night time temperature while 33.5 is the average daytime temperature?
