Victor Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Hello,I'm starting out a little bit in PVsyst and I'd like to learn a little bit about simulation models.I saw that in the PVsyst help, the calculation of the incident diffuse energy uses the horizontal direct and a value named Hsoll, according to the hay model. Also, what is the meaning of the Hsoll variable in Hay's model?Knowing that the transposition models have nothing to do with the weather, when do we select the transposition model to use? During the generation of the meteo file or before starting the project simulation?Thank you in advance for your clarifications.

During the generation of the meteo file or before starting the project simulation? Before project is run. Under project settings, when you make the change, the project will need to be saved, and will use that transposition method you selected
