Stefan Albrecht Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Hi,I noticed that with the latest version 6.53 the electrical losses acc. to strings calculated for a single-axis tracker without backtracking are unexpected low! A simulation run with PVsyst version 6.39 calculated around 4-5% higher electrical losses for identical system settings.Could you please clarify where these differences arise from? Many thanks, Stefan
Soldnerkugel Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 A fraction of these 4-5 % might result from a change in the transposition model from Hay to Perez.btw: how is it possible that an "identical simulation" delivers a non-constant result like "4-5 %" is...every run should deliver the same result.

I have seen older versions of PVsyst project higher losses compared to newer versions when running the same project.
