logan.boutilier Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 I'm attempting to transfer my license from an old laptop to a new one. The old laptop has broken and no longer powers on making the license transfer option impossible. I've already attempted the two options currently in PVsyst for updating my new laptop's version and receive the following errors:Option 1 - Direct Online Activation"Activation failed, computer identification failed, please contact PVsyst SA."Option 2 - External Activation"not the same hostid as the original"How can I activate my PVsyst license on this new laptop without access to the old laptop to deactivate the license from? I've searched the forums for an answer, simply via the search field, and could not find the answer that I need to move forward.
